Artists
Saylah Gregoire is a Seattle-based artist whose work is inspired by the beautiful and moody nature Pacific Northwest. She primarily works in watercolor, enjoying both the unpredictable nature of the medium as well as its subtly. A main goal of her watercolor art is to get it out in the world, not just on walls, but in other spaces.
RJ (she/him) is a speculative author and artist telling stories about the natural world and exploring alien ones. She is an art teacher, illustrator, science writer, and experimenter. In her free time she draws bugs, cuddles her cat, gardens, and makes weird stuff.
Sunlan Designs features jewelry created by Seattle artist Nancy Hom. The name is inspired by her mom, Sun Lan Hom. Nancy's mother taught her how to sew and knit at a young age. Late at night, she watched her make costume jewelry during off hours to extend the family budget. As an adult, Nancy became a fashion designer and mixed her passion for textiles, nature, and metalworking into her collection.
Faye Baker Pottery has been making functional pottery in the Ballard area for almost 30 years. Her neighborhood pottery School Fayezart studio located at 1806 NW 70th st. has been open for classes and workshops for 22 years. She teaches and finds the time to create her own pottery mostly functional wheel thrown pots but she also hand builds.
Canadian-born artist Ameen Dhillon, residing in Ballard for 24 years, finds inspiration in her multicultural heritage and local dive bars. Graduating from Emily Carr University, her watercolors capture the soul of Seattle's 17 favorite haunts. Notably, her work adorned ""The X-Files."" At ""Art in the Garden,"" her giclee prints showcase Ballard's essence.
Katie Dean is an artist and printmaker from Tacoma, WA who loves vibrant color combinations and natural themes as the primary foundation of her imagery. Her original hand printed editions are produced on a letterpress using oil based ink, hand carved linoleum blocks and cotton paper.

Robin Laskowski creates knit gnomes utilizing every last bit of excess yarn from her own and others projects. Inspired by her grandmother and great aunts amazing abilities to create and collect, Robin continues to use up their craft supplies as well as from local shops Recreative, Fiber Gallery, Push/Pull and through Buy Nothing.
Anastasia R. inspired by nature artist, muralist and graphic designer, from Moldova. Her main passion is to paint, but she also has a lot of different hobbies that help her expand and bring more unique products to the market.
Kimberly, the founder of Löwin Natural Health, handcrafts all body and wax products from a humble kitchen and small studio space in Seattle, Washington. Husband Michael, the wood craftsman, focuses on carving kitchen wares and educating Kimberly on opportunities to practice patience.
Firefly kitchens is a made in Ballard, small batch – hand crafted, wild fermented food manufacturer. Our traditional fermented foods, take a minimum of four weeks to brew into these nutrient-dense, functional foods that are mineral rich. Firefly Kitchens is women owned, plant based - USDA Organic, Vegan, Gluten and Dairy Free.
Anne Woodford is a local Seattleite with a passion for creating art. From an early age, Anne gravitated to the arts, taking up painting and drawing, as well as fiber arts. She has a BA from the University of Washington in Cultural Anthropology/Political Science with a minor in fine arts. She is currently drawing upon her travels for inspiration for her paintings.

Misha Zadeh creates housewares, paper goods, and textiles featuring her (mostly botanical) drawings and paintings. She has lived and worked in Ballard for over 20 years
Into the Lemon Grove we go! Inspired by the botanical world, Coupe Ceramics makes vibrant, functional pottery that adds delight to the everyday rituals of life. Every piece is entirely handmade by Emily Criswell in the North Admiral neighborhood of West Seattle.
EP Holcomb is a Seattle-area artist who loves bright color and sparkle! She’s been an artist all her life, and has been painting for half of it. Her interests include dogs, nature, anything that sparkles, and drag queens!

Rachel McLellan finds inspiration in the patterns of nature: the shape of ferns and the dots on their backs, the lines of the leaves and the bark of the trees. She loves a good pop of color and was once told that she dressed like a tropical fish (Not true. It was just one outfit). She lives in Seattle with her rad family and fluffy dog.
Cara is a Seattle-based photographer inspired by the natural world. She takes portraits of flowers, often using close-up lenses or creating in-camera double exposures to create graphic compositions. In addition to prints, select images are mounted to cradled panels and covered with a cold wax medium or encaustic (a mixture of beeswax and damar), which protects the print and adds interesting textures.
Amy Stetson moved to Ballard in 1999 with her husband and 2 dogs. As someone who had always believed she had no artistic ability, she is thrilled to explore her newly tapped creativity through fluid art. Until recently, her only experience painting was the walls of her house. Now, she uses water, air, fire, and gravity to manipulate paint into beautiful art.
Jessica Plesko is a Seattle-based artist painting Pacific Northwest inspired landscapes and animals, in both acrylic and watercolor. She hikes and creates art to center herself, and to establish a connection to both the natural world and to her audience. Her hope is that her work elicits the same sense of serenity and wonder she feels when she's out exploring our region's wild places.
Robin Bundi is an artist and designer living in Seattle, Washington. She loves to explore the natural world and primarily creates work to celebrate the natural world and our connection to it. Robin’s studio practice includes watercolor painting, drawing, and making her own watercolors from foraged materials.
Kiri Yu, or KIRISKA, is a Seattle-based Chinese-American artist specialising in flora, fauna, monsters, and macabre subjects in traditional media, particularly ink and watercolor.
Savitri is drawn to proportion, symmetry, structure and balance. The images explore vibrancy and light to create dynamic contrast. Using flowers, beets, carrots, leaves and other natural elements with a contrasted background, her goal is to present these everyday objects so that people see them in a new way.
Anna Kihara, a retired veterinarian, turned to urban farming and apiculture (bee keeping) when her health cut her vocation short in the early 2010s. Bee keeping and gardening is part of her family heritage from Germany, and so is art. Both her father and grandfather were painters, (grandpa was the beekeeper) and she finds her happy center where nature and art meet.

Camping in the Methow Valley along the Chewuch River, hiking the coastal beaches of the Olympic Peninsula, local parks around Seattle and her own backyard are all settings for Liz's block print designs. Her technique has developed through spending time in nature, seeking to capture the energy and spirit of a bird in its place.
