Information for New Gardeners
I finally have a new plot at Ballard P-Patch! Now what?
Here's some important info and a few suggestions:
Before you garden
First, be sure to complete your application paperwork! Return it to the office with your payment. Please also consider contributing to the The P-Patch Trust! More information can be found at their website: P-Patch Trust.
Second, meet with the Ballard site coordinator for a tour of the garden. You'll get lots of ideas about things you can do with your plot. Get the latest documents, including the Ballard P-Patch Welcome Brochure, from the Downloads page. Be sure your site coordinator has your current address, phone, and e-mail address.
Third, be sure of your plot boundaries before you work your plot. Ask your site coordinator to stake out your plot and mark it with your plot number.
